The Solar Opposites season 4 cast has one major change and here is what you need to know about who is coming and who has left the animated series.

The Solar Opposites season 4 cast brings back some of the biggest names from the animated series, but there is also one major change that shakes up the entire show. Created by Rick and Morty co-creators Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan, the show is about aliens who ended up landing on Earth after their home planet was destroyed by an asteroid. These aliens then set up on Earth, pretending to be humans and fit in, all while ending up involved in crazed hijinks and extraterrestrial battles. Korvo and Terry, and their young replicates Yumulack and Jesse, along with their Pupa, have to figure out how to survive while growing closer as a family.

However, since Solar Opposites season 3 ended, there was a major shakeup behind the scenes of the Hulu animated series. Roiland left the show as both the co-showrunner and the voice of Korvo. This meant that the series had to replace not only one of the main characters but the one who served mostly as the show's narrator. Unlike Rick and Morty, which will replace Roiland with sound-alike voice actors, the Solar Opposites season 4 cast chose to bring in someone who sounded completely different and make it all part of the joke on the comedy series. This was a bold choice, and one that the trailers have already shown is paying off.

Dan Stevens has signed on to replace Justin Roiland in the Solar Opposites season 4 cast. Korvo is the show's narrator and the one member of the family who doesn't like living on Earth and has a complete distaste for humans. Stevens is an actor from London who gained his first breakout role as Matthew Crawley in the ITV series Downton Abbey. This soon led him to pick up some big roles in Hollywood.

One of Stevens's most popular roles was as David Haller in the Marvel FX series Legion. This then led to movie roles in films like Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb as Sit Lancelot and 2017's live-action Beauty and the Beast as The Beast. In 2022, he voiced Admiral Hornagold in The Sea Beast and also had a major role in the series Gaslit as John Dean. He has big roles coming up as well, playing characters in both Goldzilla x Kong: The New Empire and an untitled Universal Monsters movie.

Thomas Middleditch plays Terry in the Solar Opposites season 4 cast. Terry is one of the aliens and the partner of Korvo when they are their two replicants crash to Earth. He is much more laid back and open-minded than Korvo. Middleditch was born in Canada and started working in a comedy improv group when he was in high school. This led to him joining Second City, and then he tried out for Saturday Night Live before eventually getting his start in television commercials.

Middleditch is best known for his role as Richard Hendricks in the HBO series Silicon Valley. This role earned him an Emmy Award nomination. He also appeared in movies such as The Wolf of Wall Street, The Kings of Summer, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Christina Hendricks plays Cherie in the Solar Opposites season 4 cast.
